introduction
The purpose of this website is to introduce you to who I am. You may have received my résumé, met me through a friend, or randomly in an elevator. Though there are great social networking sites these days, extraneous information should not be kept on those pages for a variety of factors, hence the creation of this page.
what is a Hsiung?
Hsiung means "bear" in Chinese. The character for it is
熊 and it so happens to be my last name.
Bears are creatures known for their strength and formidable skills, but
also for being caring to their families, respectful of nature, and their
ability to conjure respect from others. They're not particularly
aggressive creatures but when the situation or opportunity arises, they
will evoke themselves to be the tour de force they are. They are
known for being shy, but some particular species are relatively
"friendly" to people. Watch out - their appearance can easily
be a fraud and they might ransack your van for food during your camping
trip leaving you to eat McDonald's in the wilderness for the rest of the
weekend (hey, it happened to my brother).
Like a bear, I categorize myself as an opportunist, a jack of all
trades, and a respectful person. If you are an employer, please
